I’m Emilie—a professional makeup artist, educator, and skincare enthusiast with a love for radiant beauty that doesn’t try too hard.

After working with brides and clients of all ages, I saw a gap in the Wanaka beauty industry: makeup education for real women living a real life.

Before You Book…

I currently offer 1:1 lessons on:
- Mondays at 10:00am & 12:30pm
- Tuesdays at 10:00am & 12:30pm
- Sundays at 12:30pm & 3:30pm
If these times don’t work for you, just reach out. I’ll work with you to find a time that fits both our schedules.
Group lessons are scheduled as they suit both our schedules. Please send me a message with your preferred day/time and we’ll find a time that works!

1:1 lessons are offered in-person at my home in Wanaka or online via Google Meet.
For small group lessons, I come to you. Based on your location, a small travel charge may apply (no travel charge for lessons within Wanaka).
Just your makeup bag, your questions, and your freshly cleaned face—I’ll take it from there!
I also suggest wearing neutral colours (white, tan, cream, taupe — no black please). This will help us assess what makeup tones look best on you.
Not a worries at all! If you’re still building your personal makeup collection, you’ll get full access to my professional makeup kit during your lesson.
I’ll also give you product suggestions tailored to your skin type, lifestyle, and budget. Whether you’re starting from scratch or refreshing what you have, we’ll make it simple and doable.
I want you to know: this is a judgment-free zone.
This space is for learning, and all I ask is that you come with an open mind and a willingness to grow. You will never be patronised, pressured to throw out what you have, or to buy luxury products.
I will make recommendations throughout your lesson depending on your makeup goals, but ultimately, my job is to meet you exactly where you are and help you build skills with confidence. No shame, no sales pressure, no silly “should”…
Yes! You can book a personalised small group lesson with a group of three or more. Learning is always better with friends!
If you're planning a hen’s party, birthday celebration, or even a wine night with a a larger group, just reach out and I’ll create a customised makeup session that suits your vibe and numbers.
Yes! I do offer the option to do a virtual makeup lesson via Google Meet for those who aren’t in Wanaka but still want to explore makeup application on their own terms.
